Conveyance

Conveyance means transferring a property from one name to another either as a freeholder or a leaseholder. 

There are two stages to this process: the first being the exchange of contracts with a fixed deal and then the second, the completion, where the legal title changes on the property deeds

You will need to instruct a specialist conveyancer when selling or purchasing a property as they will help you with all of the legalities.
