ID, in simple terms, is an identity document that is used to verify a person's identity. 

There are two types of documentation you may need when applying for a bridging loan.

 

Personal Identity Documents

These include any of the following;

  • Current Full UK Passport
  • Current Full UK Driving Licence
  • Current UK/EU Photocard Driving Licence
  • State Pension Book or Notification Letter
  • Current Years Tax Code Notification Letter from the Inland Revenue
  • Sub Contractor's Certificate
     

Address Verification Documents

These include any of the following;

  • Mortgage Statement or a Mortgage Redemption Statement
  • Recent Utility Bill – can be Gas, Electric, Water, Landline Telephone
  • Council Tax Bill
  • House or Motor Insurance certificate
  • Current Full UK Driving Licence
  • UK/EU Photocard Driving Licence
  • State Pension Book or Notification Letter
  • Local Authority Rent Card Has to be current
  • Rent Book or Tenancy Agreement  
  • Bank Statement, Building Society Statement, Credit Union Statement or 
  • Letter from a Solicitor confirming completion of a house purchase or land registration  
  • Official Documentation from Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs (excluding P60s)
  • Credit Card Statements
