ID, in simple terms, is an identity document that is used to verify a person's identity.
There are two types of documentation you may need when applying for a bridging loan.
Personal Identity Documents
These include any of the following;
- Current Full UK Passport
- Current Full UK Driving Licence
- Current UK/EU Photocard Driving Licence
- State Pension Book or Notification Letter
- Current Years Tax Code Notification Letter from the Inland Revenue
- Sub Contractor's Certificate
Address Verification Documents
These include any of the following;
- Mortgage Statement or a Mortgage Redemption Statement
- Recent Utility Bill – can be Gas, Electric, Water, Landline Telephone
- Council Tax Bill
- House or Motor Insurance certificate
- Current Full UK Driving Licence
- UK/EU Photocard Driving Licence
- State Pension Book or Notification Letter
- Local Authority Rent Card Has to be current
- Rent Book or Tenancy Agreement
- Bank Statement, Building Society Statement, Credit Union Statement or
- Letter from a Solicitor confirming completion of a house purchase or land registration
- Official Documentation from Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs (excluding P60s)
- Credit Card Statements
