Intermediary

In bridging finance, an intermediary such as a broker is a mediator between a lender and a borrower. For example, some intermediaries cannot provide the whole loan sum and often call on lenders to help them achieve this for their clients.

Intermediaries also provide several benefits to a customer. First, they often have access to a broader range of financing than singular lenders as they can access multiple lenders. Secondly, they can be more flexible and responsive than a lender and work more closely with their customers.
