We recently commissioned a survey of people that had flipped property in the last 2 years. This randomised sample of 1,001 respondents aged 18+ throughout the UK’s 68,592,949 population (worldometer) revealed over 50% of property flippers made between £10K - £50K profit and only 1% made a loss with over 51% of properties flipped in under 4 months (from purchase to resale).

On average over the last 12 months, the phrase "flipping houses"' was searched for 9,900 times every month on Google in the UK. And those searches are increasing.

This July searches for 'flipping houses' increased to 22,000, demonstrating a noticeable increase in property flipping research and interest.

In addition to profitability and timeframes, we've taken a closer look at the current state of property flipping in the UK including where most flips have been completed in the last 2 years, the most popular types of property for flipping, how much flippers budget for refurbs, and what refurbs are most commonly completed.
